William B. Skinner, Inc is a leading customs broker servicing the greater NY/NJ Metropolitan ports beginning in 1968 when William B Skinner struck out on his own. In 1975 William B Skinner Inc was incorporated and since then has realized ongoing growth and capacity which has resulted in exceptional service, value, and reliability to our valued business partners. Our core services focus on customs clearance and delivery.

In the early 80’s we moved from our downtown Manhattan location to the Hemisphere Center in Newark in the same building as Customs. We spent the next 15 years at this location developing our business into the workhorse of the Customs Broker industry. Any time an importer was in need, we were there to pick up the slack and get the job done. In 1987 we opened our “Immediate Delivery Service” and started picking up and delivering freight with our own vehicles.

In 1998 Customs moved to another location in the Port Newark area so we decided to move our business to a warehouse in Newark so we could combine our Customs Brokerage business with our Immediate Delivery Service to provide our customers with distribution services. This was a huge success as we quickly filled our warehouse to capacity.

In 2003 we moved to our current location: 649 Gotham Pkwy in the heart of the Meadowlands. This 21,000 SF property with fenced yard provides ample opportunity for our continued growth.
