History
William B. Skinner, Inc. is a leading customs brokerage servicing the greater New York/New Jersey Metropolitan ports since 1968. Founded by William B Skinner, the company has realized continuous growth and capacity, resulting in exceptional service, and reliability to our valued business partners.
In the early 80's, we moved from our downtown Manhattan location to the Hemisphere Center in Newark in the same building as Customs, and spent the next 15 years developing our business into the workhorse of the NY/NJ Customs Broker industry.
In 2008, we moved to our current headquarters location in Lodi, NJ and in late 2010 opened our onsite airport location at Newark International Airport, right in the Cargo building. This location gives us an unparalleled ability to keep tabs on your arriving air shipment from the moment it leaves its origin airport.
Specialization – Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Perishable Foods, and Cosmetics
While we have gained experience in virtually every aspect of customs brokerage of the past several decades, we have developed a particular focus on serving the medical device, pharmaceutical, perishable food, and cosmetics import industries. Many import items in these areas—including some very high value commodities-- have highly complex entry categorization requirements.
Trust WB Skinner to help you avoid unnecessary delays, disruptions, and, especially, additional costs due to inexperience or failure to keep abreast of changing customs entry requirements, homeland security mandates, or anti-dumping regulations.
